Autoland was founded in 1971. Our unique vision of a convenient, economical auto-buying service was
quick to catch on; the company attracted hundreds of credit unions in just a few years.
In 1984, Autoland hosted its first One Day Used Car Show and Sale. In 1990 it opened its first office
inside a credit union. Within three years, the company went from five offices to 50. In 1996 a pre-owned
car locating service was added, and in 1997 the service came online - on the web, and in credit union kiosks.
In 2007, Autoland became a credit union cooperative. Our vision is to be owned by the credit unions in the
industry we have served since 1971. This is a great legacy.
Since our inception, we've delivered hundreds of thousands of cars to satisfied credit union members. We've also
developed long-term, effective relationships with hundreds of automobile dealers and inventory resources, giving
us the buying power to purchase virtually any make and model of vehicle at a great price.
Autoland has grown to become the largest credit union auto buying service. But despite its size, the company's
commitment to personalized service remains a constant. It's been an exciting ride.
